A few weeks ago, I dreamt I saw God. But when it started, He wasn’t there, and I was aimlessly stumbling around in darkness. I tried to use my phone’s flashlight to light my way, but it kept turning off and I had no idea where I was or where I was supposed to be going. All I could do was feel my way around. As well as it being visibly dark, it felt…spiritually dark.

I was desperately praying when suddenly a man with a smooth, deep voice startled me from behind. He said, gently-but-assertively, “Stop trying. Take my hand.” I immediately dropped everything because as soon as I heard it, I knew He was God. He had come to my rescue. I took His hand and He led me through the darkness. I had no idea where He was leading me, I couldn’t see anything, but I trusted Him. I just grasped His hand as we turned various ways, walked over things, up steps, etc.

He finally stopped when He brought me to a group of people who were just as scared, disturbed and lost in the dark as I was. I started to ask Him, “Will You…”

He interrupted and said, “It’s already done.” As soon as He spoke, I realized everything was light. It was light as day, but I didn’t even notice the change. It was like it had been light all along — like He answered my prayers and questions before I could even ask them. I was relieved, overjoyed and so grateful.
